Red Bull Suit Case Tags

This years Red Bull Air Races are just around the corner and DeFrance was fortunate enough to get some of the printing.

The complete finished product is a custom made suit case and enclosed is a Passport featuring all of the pilots, 18 Collectable Cards featuring the pilots & planes, a USB port and then to close the case is a luggage tag. We assisted with producing the Luggage Tags and Collectable Cards.
The above pictures are of the luggage tags. They are 4 colors 2 sides on 100# Sterling Gloss Book, after printing them we laminated 2 sides with a 1.5 mil matte lamination. This is to protect the tags from tearing when you fold them around the case handle. The tags were also die cut allowing them to fold around and lock around the handle.
We have more pictures of the tags in different production stages, let me know if you are interested is seeing more.

I will feature the collectable cards soon so keep an eye out.

What's New at DeFrance?

It's been over a week since I have posted anything and have to admit coming up with worthy material can be tough. The funny thing is, the beginning of March has been extremely busy and full of great work there just hasn't been time to post it. I will though, soon.

Some highlights of March so far:

Red Bull Air Races- Here they come again, second race of the series will be held in San Diego on May 9th & 10th. DeFrance was fortunate enough to produce some of the work for this years race. The pieces are amazing and we can't wait to show them off.

Parker White- DeFrance as part of the Red Bull job began a new relationship with Parker White who created and designed the pieces. Their firm is located in Cardiff, Ca. in an old Church, they call "The Sanctuary". They create beautiful work and we can't wait for the next project.

More to come, talk with you soon.

Happy St. Patty's Day

Slainte

Be prepared to toast on St. Patrick's Day!

When March 17th arrives you can raise your glass and toast your Irish friends with one of these phrases.

May your fire be as warm as the weather is cold.

Health, and long life to you
Land without rent to you
The partner of your heart to you
and when you die, may your bones rest in Ireland!

As you slide down the banisters of life may the splinters never point the wrong way.

May you get all your wishes but one,
So you always have something to strive for.

May your blessings outnumber
The shamrocks that grow,
And may trouble avoid you
Wherever you go.

Here's to your coffin...
May it be built of 100 year old oaks which I will plant tomorrow.

May your neighbors respect you,
Troubles neglect you,
The angels protect you,
And Heaven accept you.

May the best day of your past be the worst day of your future.

An old Irish recipe for longevity:
Leave the table hungry.
Leave the bed sleepy.
Leave the bar thirsty.

May you live to be a hundred years, with one extra year to repent.

May you never forget what is worth remembering,
Or remember what is best forgotten.

May you be in heaven one half hour before the devil knows you're dead.

May you have the hindsight to know where you've been,
The insight to know where you are,
and the foresight to know when you've gone too far.

May you have warm words on a cold evening,
A full moon on a dark night,
And the road downhill all the way to your door.

May God bring good health to your enemies enemies

May you never make an enemy
When you could make a friend–
Unless you meet a fox among your chickens.

The cards we're Offset printed 2 sides with bleeds, Ink Deboss on the “Simpson” logo and a custom die cut with a perf. Business Cards make your first impression and these definetely make it a good one.
